USC Working Group Descriptions:

Communication and Outreach: This Working Group coordinates marketing and communication efforts for the USC and develops partnerships with area organizations who share the USC's commitment to sustainability.

Curricular Innovation: This Working Group coordinates curricular work across the University to build interdisciplinary tracks, certificates, and degree programs in sustainability.

Gardens and Green Spaces: This Working Group maintains and seeks to grow gardens and green spaces on Duquesne's campus, including the community produce garden and pollinator garden.

Ranking, Reporting, and Accreditation: This Working Group maintains the STARS (Sustainability Tracking, Assessment and Reporting System) and Greenhouse Gas reports, and writes the USC Annual Report.

Student-Facing Initiatives: This Working Group plans events and seeks to inform the student population about sustainable activities and practices on campus.

Movement / Health / Sustainability: This Working Group coordinates events and programming related to sustainable health and movement.

VegPledge: This working group encourages and tracks sustainable catering decisions across campus.
