• Application to Earn a Certificate/Minor in Intercultural Engagement

    Please complete this application, including the term each course has been/or is scheduled to be completed. This can be done with the assistance of your Student Success Coach.

    There are two Intercultural Engagement tracks - The Minor Track or The Certificate Track.

    The Certificate - is intended for students who have studied abroad for at least one semester, and will/have completed all 3 courses for the Intercultural Competency requirement (CLPR 350, CLPR 351, and CLPR 352)

    The Minor- is intended for students who have studied abroad on a short-term program, such as a Spring Break Away, Maymester or Faculty-led summer program, and will/have completed the Intercultural Competency Requirement CLPR 352 only.

    Upload (PDF) and explain how your area of interest supports your proposed thematic concentration. Include specific connections to your international experiences and how this is supported by your academic course work. Clearly describe and reflect on your experience abroad that go beyond classroom study. Your Thematic Concentration must be approved by Duq Global, Center for Global Engagement Mentor.
